Fantasy Basketball Daily News (12/03/09)

The season is about 6 weeks old and the grind is starting to set in.  Most teams have a good handle on their rotations and there aren’t many fantasy sleepers left.  The time between now and New Year’s is my least favorite of the NBA season because it seems like the NBA loses it’s momentum and just gets pushed to the back burner for the newness of college hoops, NFL playoff  chases and Christmas.  Even the hardcore blogs aren’t posting as much as they were when the season was new.  The fanatics remain.  On to the news:

  • Daily Fantasy Notes from DamnLiesandStatistics.com.
  • Fantasy Recap from GiveMeTheRock.com.
  • Daily Fantasy Diagnosis from Dime Magazine.
  • Kendrick Perkins leads the league in FG% at 64.3%.
  • Nate Robinson is becoming almost impossible to play in daily leagues.  He got a DNP-CD on Wednesday.
  • Anthony Randolph is out tonight for Golden State.
  • Shaquille O’Neal returned last night against Phoenix scoring 12 points and grabbing 9 rebounds in only 21 minutes.  It was against a soft Channing Frye, but at least O’Neal was back on the court.
  • Luis Scola talked his way into the game last night, just like I thought he would.
  • Nenad Krstic rolled an ankle Wednesday so check his status for the next game.  Nick Collison also returned, which could cut into Krstic’s minutes.
