Wednesday Fantasy Basketball Articles (3/24/10)

So much for Andray Blatche being ready to lead an NBA team.  He been starting for a month and he’s already in the doghouse with a bad attitude.   What more does this guy want?  He’s had a starting job handed to him on a golden platter with a big payday at the end of the rainbow, and he’s going to totally screw it up.  Nice, Andray.  Just shut up and play.

Winding Down the 2010 Fantasy Basketball Season (3/24/10)

Fantasy basketball is grinding to an end and at this point it always seems like the season is about 10-15 games too long.  Not much going on that is fantasy relevant unless you are in a keeper league and trying to scout out some pickups for next season.

I’ll probably be moving to a schedule of posting a few times a week for the rest of the season and offseason.  I intend to keep the blog going in the offseason, so keep it bookmarked for your offseason fantasy basketball news.  I’ll mostly post in the FantasyNBADaily Twitter Feed on the right side of the homepage, so check there if you don’t see fresh posts in the blog.

Fantasy Playoffs – Round Two (3/22/10)

Congrats to everyone who survived round one of the fantasy playoffs.  Unfortunately, Joe Johnson missed two games and I guess he just didn’t want my team to advance, as I lost 4-5 in the first round.   I lost by 3 assists, thanks a lot Joe.  Injuries are the most aggravating part of H2H leagues.  You can ride near the top of the standings for 20 weeks, but if your guys aren’t going in the playoffs, you’re toast.  As a Cubs fan, all I can say is, “Wait ’til next year”.

Sunday Afternoon Fantasy Basketball Report (3/21/10)

The blogosphere is pretty dead this weekend as the season winds down.  Hopefully, everyone had a winning first week in the fantasy basketball playoffs.  My keeper team is down 3-4 in the GiveMeTheRock.com league, so I need a big Sunday night to advance.

Friday Afternoon Fantasy Basketball Reading (3/19/10)

It’s finally Friday.  It’s been the long week at my house and it’s definitely time for a Friday night cold one, or twelve.  Some fantasy reading to start off your weekend fantasy basketball action:

St. Patrick’s Day Fantasy Reading (3/17/10)

11 games on the NBA fantasy basketball schedule.  A good excuse to drink some green beer, eat some hot chicken wings and watch basketball.  St. Patrick’s day fantasy reading to get you ready:

Tuesday Fantasy Basketball News Links (3/16/10)

Thanks a lot Joe Johnson.  I guess I spoke too soon yesterday about having everyone healthy for the GiveMeTheRock.com keeper league playoffs.  Joe Johnson is out and Lou Williams also got a DNP.  I have a feeling that the Fantasy Basketball Daily team is going to be making a quick playoff exit.  Why can’t the opposition ever lose a player?  Oh well, that’s life in the fantasy world.

Let the Fantasy Basketball Playoffs Begin (3/15/10)

Good luck to everyone who made the fantasy basketball playoffs.  I’ve got a tough first round matchup in the GiveMeTheRock.com keeper league, but at least I’ve got everyone healthy, which is all you can ask for at this point in the season.  I picked up Jrue Holiday as a four game starter in place of Carlos Delfino, so we’ll see how the gamble pays off.  My other two H2H leagues are byes this week and the rotisserie leagues are pretty much already decided this deep into the season.
