Jeremy Lin Early Favorite to Start for Knicks

The New York Post reports that Mike Woodson has named Jeremy Lin as his starting PG going into the 2012-2013 season. (NYPost.com)

Fantasy Advice:  Lin was having a great season before the knee injury, but I’ve still got this nagging doubt about his true ability over the long run, as well as his ability to mesh well with the talents of Carmelo Anthony.   I wish I would have gotten to see more from him this season, especially working as a team with Melo and Amare.  He somehow managed about 15 shots a game, but you have to guess that will drop when the Knicks are functioning as a completely healthy team.   I think training camp will go a long way toward determining his final role and fantasy draft position.  He’s going to be a high risk, high reward pick.
