Rajon Rondo a triple-double, 14 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
Jason Terry fading in fantasy value with the return of Avery Bradley, 2 of 8 for 4 points.
Courtney Lee getting hurt even worse, just 9 minutes.

Josh Smith 4 of 18 shooting for 12 points.  He did manage 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks.
Al Horford 2 of 8 for 6 points.
Lou Williams could stick in the starting lineup the rest of the year, 9 of 12 for 28 points.
Kyle Korver 3 of 8 from three, 9 points.
Jeff Teague 7 of 14 for 17 points.

Carmelo Anthony 40 points on 29 shots.
Tyson Chandler double-double, 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Amare Stoudemire looking a little better, 17 minutes, 11 points and 4 rebounds.
Jason Kidd has been solid with Ray Felton out, 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.

Nikola Vucevic keeps the double-doubles rolling, 11 points and 18 rebounds.

Larry Sanders has probably been the best waiver wire grab of the season, 12 points 12 rebounds and 4 blocks.

John Henson got a big 26 minutes, 6 points and 13 rebounds.  Guys in keeper leagues should grab him.

Roy Hibbert with a big game, 20 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks.
George Hill 14 points on 16 shots.
Gerald Green just 2 of 10 for 7 points, 1 of 7 from three.
Paul George 6 turnovers.

DeMarcus Cousins giving good effort, 28 points and 11 rebounds.  Maybe a trade soon.
Aaron Brooks and Isaiah Thomas still in a timehare, 22 minutes for Thomas, 26 for Brooks.
John Salmons 3 of 7 from three.  He’s a good pickup if you need threes.
Francisco Garcia did nothing filling in for Tyreke Evans, 0 points and 2 assists in 21 minutes.

Brook Lopez just 17 minutes in the blowout, 18 points on 7 of 12 shooting.
Gerald Wallace with a poor game, 8 points and 4 rebounds.
Joe Johnson 15 points on 14 shots.
Deron Williams looking much better lately, 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists.

James Harden 14 of 15 from the free throw line, 29 points.
Jeremy Lin 7 of 13 for 20 points, 5 assists.
Greg Smith a double-double and he should be on your radar in keeper leagues.
Patrick Patterson could move back into the starting lineup soon, 15 points and 6 rebounds.
Omer Asik an off game, 4 points and 6 rebounds.

Tristan Thompson really thriving with Anderson Varejao out, 14 points and 16 rebounds.
Tyler Zeller with a well rounded game, 12 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals.
Kyrie Irving 30 points on 24 shots.
CJ Miles starting and Dion Waiters coming off the bench, but fairly equal in minutes played.

 

Portland 102 @ Minnesota 97

Nic Batum 5 of 6 from three, 26 points.
JJ Hickson 1 of 10 shooting, 2 points.
Wesley Matthews looking healthy again, 5 of 7 from three, 26 points.
Damian Lillard 20 points on 14 shots.

Kevin Love broke his finger again, he’ll be out for awhile.
Nikola Pekovic suffered a hip injury, could miss time.
Dante Cunningham could be a huge waiver wire grab with Love out.
Andrei Kirilenko could go back to having big games with Love out.
Alexey Shved 1 of 11 for 2 points.

Anthony Davis just 12 minutes.  The Hornets are 8-25, why mess with Davis’ head now?
AF Aminu 39 minutes and a double-double, 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Greivis Vasquez almost another triple-double, 25 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists.
Ryan Anderson 4 of 7 from three, 16 points.

Dirk Nowitzki back in the starting lineup and progressing well, 20 points and 6 rebounds.
OJ Mayo still shooting poorly, 5 of 17 for 14 points.
Vince Carter 17 points off the bench.
Darren Collison with decent fantasy value, 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

Spencer Hawes 10 of 13 for 22 points.  He’s still on a few wires.
Jrue Holiday 11 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
Lavoy Allen 3 blocks, but just 15 minutes of action.
Dorell Wright 31 minutes, 0 points.

Tiago Splitter double-double, 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Kawhi Leonard still not playing well, 1 of 4 for 2 points.
Tony Parker 8 of 16 for 20 points.
Manu Ginobili finally with a decent game, 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

 

Utah 91 @ Denver 110

Paul Millsap filled the stat sheet, 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks.
Al Jefferson in a little slump lately, 12 points and 8 rebounds.
Derrick Favors 1 of 6 for 4 points.
Jamaal Tinsley has the starting PG spot for now, but keep an eye on Earl Watson.
Enes Kanter still out with an ankle injury.

Danilo Gallinari shooting well, 7 of 11 for 26 points.
Kenneth Faried 7 of 10 for 15 points, 10 rebounds.
Andre Iguodala 18 points and 6 rebounds.
Ty Lawson getting back to full speed after his achilles problem, 14 points and 4 assists.

 

Golden State 89 @ LA Clippers 115

David Lee with a poor game, 10 points and 5 rebounds.
Stephen Curry also with a poor game, 10 points and 5 assists.
Klay Thompson 4 of 10 for 14 points.
Draymond Green 8 points and 8 rebounds in just 15 minutes.  Keeper league owners should definitely take a flier on Green.

Blake Griffin a big 7 assists, 20 points.
DeAndre Jordan 13 points and 8 rebounds.
Chris Paul 27 points and 9 assists.  He’s getting back to the Chris Paul of a few years ago.
Willie Green got 15 shot attempts.  No way should Green be getting that many shots.
Jamal Crawford missed the game with a foot injury.
Eric Bledsoe got 30 minutes and could be a great pickup if Crawford’s foot injury is serious.

Fantasy Basketball Injury Report for Friday, January 4

Kevin Love suffered a hand injury Thursday.  XRays were negative and the injury was called a sprained third metacarpal.

Ty Lawson played through his achilles injury Thursday, but was clearly limited by it.

Meyers Leonard will miss the next two games with an ankle injury.

Ricky Rubio out with a back injury that is likely related to overcompensating for his knee injury recovery.

Al Horford is probable Friday with a hip injury.

Devin Harris is doubtful Friday with a foot injury.

Enes Kanter is doubtful Friday with an ankle injury.

Stephen Jackson suffered an an ankle injury Thursday night, check his next gametime status.  Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green will get extra minutes.

Andrea Bargnani could miss another month with his elbow injury.  You have to hold him on the bench.  Ed Davis is a must own.

Lance Stephenson is a gametime decision Friday with an illness.

Mo Williams is out indefinitely after thumb surgery.  Jamaal Tinsley will start at poing guard for the Jazz.

George Hill is probable Friday with a thigh injury.

Rodney Stuckey is probable Friday with an ankle injury.

Kris Humphries has an ankle sprain and is listed as day to day.  Reggie Evans will continue to start for Humphries.

Anderson Varejao is likely out until next Wednesday with his knee injury.  Tyler Zeller will continue to start.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is probable tonight with an eye injury.

Daniel Gibson out with a concussion.

Only two games on the NBA schedule for Thursday night, but tonight is loaded with 11 games for the big Friday night tournaments on FanDuel and DraftStreet.  Don’t forget about the Friday night $200,000 Qualifier over on FanDuel.  I’ll be posting some of my favorite picks for the tourney later today.

 

San Antonio 83 @ New York 100

Tim Duncan only 24 minutes, 11 points and 6 rebounds.  This one was a blowout and several of the Spurs got some rest.
Tony Parker 11 points and 6 assists.
Tiago Splitter 3 blocks.
Danny Green 2 of 6 from three.
Kawhi Leonard has been slow getting going in his return from injury, 1 of 5 from three for 7 points.
Manu Ginobili only 2 of 10 shooting for 8 points.

Andre Miller had 11 points and 10 assists and makes a nice daily play with Lawson hurting.
Andre Iguodala 1 of 5 from three, 1 of 7 from the line.
Corey Brewer still getting nice run, 29 minutes and 13 shot attempts.
