  • Don Nelson returned Thursday and Anthony Randolph got a DNP-CD.  Coincidence?   Nelson blamed it on Randolph’s sore ankle, but we’ll see what happens in the next few games.  Randolph is almost unplayable in daily leagues right now due to his uncertain minutes.
  • Kirk Hinrich might be able to return on Saturday.  [ESPN]
  • Kevin Love may return from a broken hand on Saturday.  Check your waiver wire just to make sure he isn’t out there. [ESPN]
  • Raja Bell finally underwent wrist surgery on Thursday.  He’s gone for at least three months, so you can mark him off your fantasy lists.
  • Seven years in the NBA and Dwyane Wade has never won in Denver.
  • FanHouse.com analyzes the possible trade of Tyrus Thomas to the Knicks.
  • Courtney Lee may get the start tonight in place of Trenton Hassell.   You’re 0-18, could the Nets possibly do any worse by throwing all the young guns on the court at the same time and see what happens?  Hassell definitely isn’t the future of the Nets. 
  • Andrei Kirilenko expects to play Friday.  [DeseretNews.com]
  • Charlie Villanueva will return on Friday fro Detroit.  Villanueva is recovering from a broken nose and will be required to wear a mask, which could affect his game.  Go with other options if you have them. [The Detroit News]
  • Eric Gordon is questionable for Saturday with a strained left hamstring.
  • Erick Dampier is back at full strength after dealing with an elevated heart rate and numbness in his arm.  He underwent two weeks of tests, but nothing was ever found.
  • Chris Paul is back practicing and there is some speculation that he may play Friday.  Be careful using Darren Collison.  [Nola.com]
