Fantasy Basketball Daily News and Notes (11/15/10)

Daily Cash Games – On Sunday I went 1-2 on Fanduel.com and 3-0 on FantasySportsLive.com.  I finished the weekend just about back where I started.   Sometimes breaking even is a good thing.   There are 7 games on the NBA fantasy schedule Monday and cash game rosters are due by 7:00 pm EST.

Kevin Love (MIN) – He disappointed with only 22pts/17reb.  Due to Rambis’ horrible coaching decisions on Love, I unfortunately avoided Love in all my daily cash games.  Oh well, I’m sure the next time I use him, he’ll get his regular 27 minutes.

Sebastian Telfair (MIN) – Had a good game filling in for Luke Ridnour, 18pts/8ast.   Ridnour should be back soon and Jonny Flynn is also on the way, which should limit Telfair’s fantasy value.

Austin Daye (DET) – He might have finally lost his starting job.  Jason Maxiell got the start at PF Sunday, with Charlie Villanueva coming off the bench.  Daye got a DNP-CD.  I’d hold him for another week or two, especially in keeper leagues.

Carl Landry (SAC) – Showing some signs of life, 19pts/8reb.  Check your wire to see if anyone gave up on him.

Jason Thompson (SAC) – I’ve seen some trade rumors floating around about Thompson.  If you have an open bench spot and want to gamble on a trade, picking Thompson up could pay off.

Tiago Splitter (SAS) – Looks like a fantasy bust so far.  Hold him for just bit longer to see if it’s a health problem.

Jeff Green (OKC) – He made it back on the court after missing several games due to injury.  He managed 26 minutes of action and should be good to go, just be safe and check tonight’s gametime status.

Ishmael Smith (HOU) – Kyle Lowery is healthy and has taken over the PG spot until Aaron Brooks returns.  It’s safe to drop Smith.

Timofey Mozgov (NYK) – Got a start at center Sunday, but really didn’t do much.  He’s still best left on the wire.

Robin Lopez (PHO) – Only 6 minutes on Sunday.  He’s moving dangerously close to getting dropped to the wire.

Kobe Bryant (LAL) – Had a nice 14 assist game.

Pau Gasol (LAL) – He’s the best Laker to own until Andrew Bynum gets back, not Kobe.  28pt/17reb.
