Also, I’ll be out from Thursday, February 3 through Sunday, February 13 for a little vacation time away from the world.  No phone or computer, it’s going to be peaceful.

News and Notes from Tuesday’s Fantasy NBA Action:

Nick Young (WAS) – Young had been slumping for a few games, but he bounced back nicely last night shooting 9 of 18 for 30 points.

John Wall (WAS) – Still can’t find his shot, 2 of 11 for just 4 points.  He’s still sitting at a terrible 39.5 FG% this season and will have to work on this in the offseason if he ever plans on being a top fantasy PG.

Jason Smith (NOR) – Emeka Okafor is out for a couple of weeks and Smith is the pick to start in Okafor’s place.  Smith played 25 minutes Tuesday, putting up 20 points and 5 rebounds.  He’s a nice short term pickup with center eligibility in the Yahoo game.

Chris Paul (NOR) – Only 9 shot attempts Tuesday, 15pts/9ast/2stl.

Marcus Thornton (NOR) – 1 of 7 shooting, but he did get to the line 12 times, 10 points.

DeJuan Blair (SAS) – Another solid line, 14pts/12reb.

LaMarcus Aldridge (POR) – An all-star worthy line, 40 points on 16 of 23 shooting.

Wes Matthews (POR) – He’s really evolved into a single category player, 21pts/1reb/0ast/0stl/0blk/2tov.

Kendrick Perkins (BOS) – Managed to go 25 minutes, 8pts/10reb, and it might not be much longer before he cracks the starting lineup.

Tyreke Evans (SAC) – Contributed across the stat sheet against the Celtics, 20pts/4reb/4ast/2stl/2blk.

Kyle Lowery/Aaron Brooks (HOU) – Combined to shoot 2 of 16 from three.

Lamar Odom (LAL) – Andrew Bynum was out with a sore knee which allowed Odom to soak up some extra  minutes.  He made the most of it with 20 points and 20 rebounds.

Pau Gasol (LAL) – Pau also ended up with big minutes with Bynum out, 26pts/16reb with 4 blocks.
