Fantasy Basketball Daily News and Notes for Tuesday, December 11

The biggest line of the night went to Tony Parker, who picked up his first career triple-double going for 27 points, 12 assists and 12 rebounds.  It seems strange that as long as Parker has been in the league and playing at a high level, that this was his first triple-double.  Better late than never I guess.  On to Monday night’s fantasy highlights:

Detroit 97 @ Philadelphia 104

Rodney Stuckey is finally getting his act together, 19 points and 5 assists.  Grab him off the wire if he’s still out there.
Greg Monroe a nice bounce back game, 22 points and 7 rebounds.
Kyle Singler’s fantasy star is falling quick, 5 points and 2 rebounds.  Stuckey should take back his starting spot soon.

Jrue Holiday moving into elite PG status, 25 points and 8 assists.
Evan Turner a near triple-double, 18 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists.
Nick Young returned from a toe injury, but didn’t do much.  Give him a few games to get his shooting touch back.
Spencer Hawes got 32 minutes, 15 points and 8 rebounds, three blocks.

Golden State 104 @ Charlotte 96

Stephen Curry is red hot right now, 27 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
David Lee a double-double, 25 points and 11 rebounds.
Draymond Green tough shooting night, 0 for 8.  Green is worth a look in keeper leagues.
Klay Thompson’s shooting is getting a little better, 4 of 7 Monday.

Bismack Biyombo another start, 3 blocks.  Grab him off the wire if you need blocks.
Kemba Walker 24 points, 6 assists.
Jeff Taylor had a disppointing night, 1 for 8 shooting.  He could lose the starting SG spot soon.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist with 17 points and 7 rebounds.  Solid.

Atlanta 92 @ Miami 101

Josh Smith 4 of 5 from three, 22 points.  It was nice last night, but this isn’t the spot on the floor where you want to see Smith shooting the ball.
Al Horford a double-double machine lately, 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Jeff Teague 3 assists, 5 turnovers.
Kyle Korver missed another game with his back injury.

LeBron James with an average 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
Chris Bosh double-double, 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Dwyane Wade with a great shooting night, 11 of 13 for 26 points.
Udonis Haslem missed with the flu.

San Antonio 134 @ Houston 126 (OT)

Tony Parker triple double, 27 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists.
Tim Duncan off night, 1 of 9 shooting.
Gary Neal 29 points on 18 shots.
Danny Green 2 for 7 from three.  He’s a great short term pickup if you need threes.

Jeremy Lin with 38 points, 4 of 5 from three.   Only 2 turnovers.
James Harden missed the game with an ankle injury.
Omer Asik big double-double, 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Tony Douglas 41 minutes.  He’s starting to get decent minutes and could be worth a look if Lin slumps again.

Sacramento 96 @ Dallas 119

Tyreke Evans missed another game with a knee injury.
Francisco Garcia with a start, 25 points on 16 shots, 3 blocks.
DeMarcus Cousins 25 points on 17 shots.
John Salmons 7 assists.
Isaiah Thomas 2 for 9 shooting, 4 points.
Marcus Thornton only 19 minutes.  No clue what the Kings are thinking by not playing Thornton more minutes.

Chris Kaman toughing it out through an ankle injury, 18 points and 2 rebounds.
OJ Mayo 3 of 4 from three, 19 points.
Shawn Marion missed with a groin injury.
Darren Collison doing ok off the bench, 15 points on 7 of 9 shooting.
Dahntay Jones got the start at SF, 11 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds.
Vince Carter 1 of 6 from three.

Toronto 74 @ Portland 92

Andrea Bargnani suffered an elbow injury and didn’t return.
Amir Johnson got ejected for arguing with the ref and then decided to throw his mouthpiece just for extra emphasis.  Suspension possible.
Kyle Lowry suffered a triceps injury and could miss time.  Grab Jose Calderon if you need a short term fill in at PG.
Linas Kleiza missed the game with a knee injury.
Mickael Pietrus returned after missing a game, but looked a little off going 3 for 13 shooting.

Wesley Matthews was out with a hip injury.
Nicolas Batum was out with a back injury.
LaMarcus Aldridge tried to pick up the slack, 30 points and 12 rebounds.
Damian Lillard 2 of 14 and he tweaked an ankle.  Not a good night.
JJ Hickson double-double 16 points and 11 rebounds.  7 of 7 shooting.
